Background

With a storied running career that has included All-American cross country honours at the College of William and Mary, an individual bronze medal at the 2011 NACAC Cross Country Championships, and a 2013-2015 UK stint training with Run-Fast in London, Colin progressed to a new level in 2017 as he moved up in distance to the marathon.

Colin kicked off 2017 with a 2:18:16 debut marathon that netted him 8th place against a strong Houston Marathon field. After a series of impressive finishes in major US races in the Fall, including a career best 64:58 clocking to place 7th at the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose Half Marathon, Colin capped off a stellar year with a breakthrough 2:15:33 performance at the California International Marathon, which incorporated the USA Marathon Championships. In 2018 he has continued to impress in key races, running 45:38 in the Gate River Run 15k (also a national championship event) and finishing in front of some of the country’s top talents. In October he finished an impressive 6th at the San Jose Half, clocking a new best time of 64:34. At the California International Marathon a few weeks later, he improved his best time to 2:14:43.

Colin will be racing in the 2019 Virgin London Marathon on 28 April.
